MARCH STUDENT OF THE MONTH

March has been a great month for Steele. He is very excited to be playing Rookie ball. Once he found out what he was playing for the Twins he had to have a Twins flat hat. One of the dads asked Steele if he wanted his hat to be curved. He said he would do it while Steele was practicing his batting. Steele had a nervous giggle not sure if the dad was serious. We are all looking forward to a great season.
Steele was also student of the month for March. He just kept saying "I can't believe I'm student of the month." We are all very proud of him for his great grades and hard work.

New addtion to the family!!

Amazing what they can do these days at such an early stage in the pregnancy.
She still has her hand up by her face. By the looks of this picture she may have my nose. Poor thing.

This was a perfect picture moment because Steele was at this appointment and the ultrasound tech told Steele his sister was waving at him.

We are all very excited for the new addition to the family. Steele is very excited to make her a Broncos fan. The poor girl will be brainwashed by a Patriots fan, Colts fan, and a Broncos fan. That will last until she picks her own team. Steele can't wait to drive her to Subway, take her on the ski lifts, and show her how to ride the dirt bike. I have seen through Steele's reaction and excitement that this is truly the best gift I could give him as a parent. She will be so lucky to have a wonderful big brother.

This was our first ski trip of the year. Once again we were blessed with great weather. Saturday was so great we had to shed some layers. Saturday Brian and Steele skied and Sunday they got to snowboard. Brian had made a deal with Steele last year that he could snowboard one day. I threw in my deal that he had to take a lesson if he was going to snowboard. We did pull him out early so Brian could take him on some runs. All along I had said that I will make him ski until he is 10. After a day of snowboarding, and Brian, I know I will lose this battle. He will thank me later that I made him become a great a skier when he has to take his kids and grand kids. It was cute to hear the dads saying "I'm to old to board" to their teenagers. Brian realized he better get his butt in shape. We were thinking that we would go just once this year, but I am already looking for ways to budget in another trip this year.

The Inaugural Pahrump Family/Friends Holiday Flag Football Extravaganza!!

We all had an exciting and fun time playing and eating bar-b-que!! I hope that I'm not the only one who is extremely sore after this fun day!! It got a bit heated up at times as Gunnar and Steele forgot they weren't playing tackle football!! No serious injuries reported except my pulled hammy, glutes, back, arms, neck, and everything else!!!! Thanks to all who participated and we can't wait to do it again!!! I wish more than two pictures were taken by the camera woman!!! Everyone had at least one fantastic moment!!!!!!!!!
